Our mission is to enhance the health, well-being, and quality of life in Maplewood, Missouri. There are many ways to do this! We will prioritize funding decisions based on the needs of those applying for funds, and what resources we have to give. We will use a transparent and equitable process to guide our grant-making. 

In our first season of fundraising in the Fall of 2025 we were able to donate $10,000 to 6 local organizations and 8 Maplewood citizens. We hope to be able to grant even more in 2026! The fund has nearly no overhead expenses (no staff, no office, etc...) so we will be able to donate close to 100% of what we raise. 

Please do directly support local nonprofits and service providers - we don't intend the replace the need for those groups to have their own donors. Our role is to generate enthusiasm for giving among Maplewood residents and supporters to increase the funds those orgs and service providers have available to them. We expect the Fund to be especially helpful to smaller agencies that don't have bandwidth for large fundraising efforts, or individuals in need of one-time support.
